Short animation inspired by illustration from book " Schola Veritatis" wrote by av Basilio Valentín.

This animation explores the themes of freedom, perception, and the human spirit. The young girl's journey is both physical and metaphorical, as she flees from oppression and seeks a new life. The tape on her eyes represents the limited perspective that she has been forced to endure, but it also suggests that she is open to new experiences and possibilities.

Imagine a world before Christiania was established, a time when the Nordic people lived in harmony with nature. This is the world that my short animation presents, Through the magic of animation, we travel back in time to a world before the Middle Ages, when Norway and Oslo were still wild and untamed. This animation is a work of imagination, inspired by the illustration of Karl - Fredrik keller

A diverse group of colleagues  gather on the lunch break, their individual styles and personalities shining through in their communication and movement. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, as they chat and laugh, sharing stories and making new friends.

A pulsating stone beats in time with techno drums, its movements captured in a looping animation that brings the rhythm to life. The falling bug adds a whimsical touch, providing a special expression for the beating sounds.

The construction of the bug resembles an ancient stone skeleton, reminiscent of dinosaurs. Its internal casing is filled with cotton wool, creating a stark contrast between the two materials and producing a bizarre effect for the audience.

An historical carpet at the Akershus Festning, it depicts a Biblical story about three kings on their way to Bethlehem. The animation focuses on the four-scene pattern, which plays simultaneously and creates a sense of distraction, but also forces the viewer to quickly develop a strategy and watch the animation again. The expressions of each king are intended to add a touch of humor, which always helps the show stay in mind.

Inspired by the paintings at Akershus Festning, I created a short animation with a cooler color palette for all the figures. I focused on studying the face shapes and character personalities behind the faces.

One of the characters for my future animation, called Bet, uses Duik Bassel to create a walking expression. This function helps me find the correct walk style based on the character's weight.

Experimenting with new effects, I created a shadow on the water that mirrors the entire character.
